After Ganon had been defeated by Link, and he saved you, you and him settled down in Hateno Village. You lived in a quaint little house together— which you had spruced up, by the way, since Link didn’t bother to decorate it when he first bought it.
During your time in the village, you realized that Hyrule had a lack of schools. So, you took it upon yourself to make one right in Hateno Village! You commissioned Bolson to make it, hired a teacher, and then opened the school to the public!
You visited the school as often as you could. Which wasn’t much, sadly, due to your duties as the Princess/Prince. The kids loved when you visited. And, since Link was your personal knight, he stuck by your side constantly. The kids always goofed around with him. Sometimes he’d even show them cool tricks he’d learnt on all of his adventures.
You finished hanging up the drawing on the wall. You stepped back, admiring the artwork for the millionth time. It warmed your heart. It was a cute little doodle of Link that the kids had drawn.
You suddenly felt a warm breath brush against the back of your neck. It was Link. He peeked over your shoulder, spotting the drawing. He leaned in closer, his eyes filling with a newfound wonder. His stoic expression broke for just a moment, and his lips curved upwards in a faint smile.
