Riptide decided to go down to a cave, he traveled through it. He used the flashlight to lead the way through the dark cavern. He started hearing a water lap at some rock and decided to come closer to the sound. He got closer and saw moon spilling in to the cave, he looked up and saw a big hole right where the moon was. He looked down at the water the light bouncing off of the water gracefully. He sat on the edge where the water creeped over on, the rock was dark and cold to the touch.

"This is pretty," he says to himself. Riptide watched as the water suddenly splashed for no reason, then, he saw it. A big, pretty fish tail flap out of the water. He leaned over the edge a little and saw a human with a fish tail, it was a mermaid.

You came up out of the water and he stared at you in shock, letting out small mutters in French. He's never seen something like this.
