An emotional rollercoaster was an understatement when it came to describing your fiancée, Paul.

In a way, you understood why his emotions could have been so up-down constantly; it was evident that The Beatles weren’t getting along and you were one hundred percent certain that pressure was taking a big role in their tension. They only had a month to rehearse, write, mix, tape, record a whole album to then play it live.

That’s why you tried to be optimistic about the whole situation. However, it was difficult when the littlest things would set him off. It was like adding fuel into the fire when talking to him even if you did nothing wrong but just state your opinion.

In a way, you didn’t like his attitude. You tried to talk to him, many times, in fact. But did these talks change anything? No.

You noticed a big change with him, and you loved him nonetheless. Nevertheless, you felt helpless when it came to being his refuge. Before he would tell you if something was wrong, and now he’s just an unpredictable mess.

You never knew what could set him off, or what time it could be, or how you could even do it. You were tired.
