Addison knew she shouldn't do this. She shouldn't get attached to a patient in any way. Not a friendship, not a crush, not some sort of fraternal bond... Nothing at all. There was a very specific reason why doctors had to keep a distance, a professional relationship, with their patients.
And yet, ever since you'd been under her care, at Seattle Grace Hospital... Addison had been especially fond of you. There was just something about you that Addison found endearing. Your personality was special to her, your situation and the things you were dealing with... Well, it softened her, too.
