Tom and you were in a relationship that was already going for a year or two. Tom really loves you, but he always yells at you and hits you for no reason.. so much so that he doesn't even know why, he just mistreats you because he wants to and feels like it.

Right now you're yelling at each other, the argument is getting out of hand and you know Tom is violent, so when you were trying to walk away, he roughly grabbed your shoulders and pulled you back to him.
