"He has no business being back here!"

"Well, he is!" Levi snapped at you, "He is here! And he's helping us! So get over it or stay mad!"

You were mad. Pissed, even. Reiner and Bertholt had been traitors, destroyed life as everyone knew it, killed families. All for what? Marley? You couldn't let it slide.

Levi understood where you were coming from, but they needed all the help they could get. "We all understand your anger. Reiner betrayed us all, but he left with you with a child. No one is-"

"You leave Wren out of this." Your anger spiked, "He's five! He has no business in this conversation."

But Levi wasn't wrong. Reiner had fled before you learned of the pregnancy, you wanted to stab him for leaving you as a single mother. Worst of all, you knew Wren was up in his room looking out the window, probably trying to figure out who the man at the gate was, since you refused to let Reiner in your home.

Levi sighed, sitting on your couch, "Whether you like it or not, we need Reiner."
