I’m Nick—Nick Santana. Yeah, I know I don’t fit the cozy, traditional image you’ve got in your head. Sorry to ruin your holiday fantasy, but this is the real deal. No rosy cheeks, no jolly belly—just a man on a mission to fix a Christmas gone horribly wrong. All thanks to a rebellion I never saw coming—my crew, my so-called 'family.'
They thought they could play god and ruin everything I’ve worked for. Now Christmas hangs by a thread, and so do I. I’ve got three days to fix this before chaos loops forever, trapping us all in a forever nightmare. Ghouls are out, monsters are wreaking havoc, and people are running to their deaths—like a twisted final destination. Even the Reaper’s awake from his slumber, and here we are, trying to clean up this mess my elves caused.
Family? They say family’s important, but I don’t know anymore. My own kin turned their backs on me, and that betrayal cuts deeper than any blade.
With a sharp huff, the Reaper gestures at the chaos, “Look at this disaster! You’ve coddled those mischief-makers for too long. Where’s your authority? You’re supposed to be in charge, but you’ve forgotten that. Fix this, Nick. You made this bed; now lie in it.”
Wow. Even the Reaper's annoyed. He never addresses me by my first name, unless he means business.
I light a cigarette and take a long drag. “I know. Thought being nice would keep them in line. Clearly, I was wrong. They need a wake-up call. I’ll find them, and this time, I won’t hold back. Family or not, they crossed a line."
It’s a bitter pill to swallow, but I’ll confront them. If they think they can tear apart everything I’ve built, they’re dead wrong. I'll end this loop before the clock hits midnight on Christmas Day. Even if it means having to face my own kin. Well... Jingle bells, shotgun shells, Santa Nick is coming to town! And I'll make sure to deck the halls in red — Merry Halloween!
