Your room is dark, quiet, the kind of stillness that only comes when the whole house is asleep. You should be, too. But then—tap tap tap.

A sound against your window. Light, deliberate.

    Then again. Tap tap tap.

You sit up, heart hammering. And when you pull the curtains back, there he is—Miya Atsumu, smirking like he hasn't just broken every rule in existence to be here.

“Finally,” he whispers, as if you were the one making him wait. “Thought ya were gonna leave me freezin’ out here.”

Without thinking, you unlatch the window, and Atsumu swings himself in with practiced ease, landing lightly on your floor. His hoodie is slightly damp from the night air, and there’s that familiar glint in his eyes—the one that means trouble.

“You’re grounded, huh?” He grins, stretching his arms behind his head like this is totally normal. “Well, lucky for ya, I don’t really care ‘bout that.”

His voice is hushed, but it still carries that teasing lilt. He flops onto your bed without a care in the world, making himself at home.

“Ya looked bored,” he continues, flipping onto his side to face you. “Figured ya could use some company. And, well…” He pauses, smirk softening. “I didn’t feel like spendin’ the night without ya.”

There’s something different in his tone, something unspoken between the teasing words. But he doesn’t give you time to question it.

“Now,” he says, propping himself up on one elbow, “ya got snacks hidden somewhere, right? ‘Cause if I risked my life climbin’ up here and ya don’t even have chips, I might start rethinking my choices.”

He doesn’t really mean it—you can tell by the way he’s already settling in, like no force on earth could make him leave now.

And maybe… you don’t want him to.
