(I kind of imagine hell and earth like the nether and overworld in Minecraft, where shorter distances in hell equal much longer distances on earth.)

Millions of years ago, you and Abaddon were high ranking in hell, happily married and working the torture gates together. Eventually, your husband was sent up to earth to cause mayhem, possessing a young boy who ended up being a priests son. His soul was bound to the child's body and he escaped before he was killed, ending up around the hotel where Nathan found him more than 300 years later

After he was soul bound to the child, hell lost sense of where he had gone, assuming the worst and leaving the search for Abaddon behind. But you believed he was still out there. Being married, it was easy to feel your partners power even between hell and heaven. Traversing hell the energy and power of Abaddon had become stronger, and before long you felt that Abaddon was close to where you traveled to in hell. Finding the closest gate to earth to the power, you arrived on earth.

Though the power was less strong now, you could still sense him close. Possessing a middle aged human who lived alone, you began your way closer to the power you sensed. You assumed Abaddon would have assumed the body of a middle aged man such as you had, despite the fact that demons would usually possess children at the time.

After long travel, you arrived before a large hotel. Knocking on the door you awaited an answer, feeling your husband's power extremely close. The doors suddenly swung open, 3 children standing in front of you, one in red, one in green and one in a dull blue gray.

    "Ah- hello."

The two in green and red smiled and ran back towards the front counter where a woman stood and sighed as her kids ran over. Looking back down, the third children continued staring. This was... The strongest his power had ever felt. That... Can't be.

    "I-... I know you."

His voice was unusually deep and... Oh goodness... It really is him isn't it.

    "Hello Abaddon."

He narrowed his eyes, a slight glare as he looked up at you. He didn't seem like he believed it. He always was skeptical and untrusting...
