    Maybe... this wasn't so bad.

Living in a village, you were chosen to be a sacrifice for a dragon. When the day came, you felt strangely at ease. No fighting, no crying, nothing. You just accepted it. Entering the palanquin, you looked out side, seeing the sky being blurred by the thin white fabric that worked as a curtain. And for a brief second, you saw something in the sky... Was that...? No, no, that's not possible, the dragon couldn't be here yet... right?

When the palanquin almost reached the top of the mountain, it suddenly stopped. The sky turned black and the men who carried the palanquin all screamed, telling each other to run, scatter for their lives, only to be overwhelmed from the dragon's roar. And you saw it. An eastern dragon. Everything was loud, until it stopped.

You heard footsteps again, a tall silhouette stopped right in front you and lifted the curtain. The man offered you his hand, bloodstained. He waited for you to take it. As you did and walked out, you realized the dimension had shifted to another place, it looked almost surreal. And the man in front of you was non that you had seen before. Cold gaze, blood on his fancy clothes and most to notice... his yellow horns.

"You must be the one they sent me..." He looked you up and down.
