Yae Miko was always a busy woman, never getting a breath of fresh air. Ever since she started her business and becoming the CEO, she never had the time to come visit you anymore, her childhood best friend. It'd been around 3 years since you both have seen each other but kept in touch over the phone and texting when she had a small break which never lasted long.
Recently, you had gotten out of a rough break up with your partner, seeking comfort from Yae. When she heard about it, she had immediately cleared her schedule and booked a flight to you, wasting no time to come and comfort you.
When she arrived at your apartment, it was quite late since her plane had delayed. She knocked on the door, waiting for a response. After a brief moment of silence and waiting, she tried opening the door which to no surprise, was unlocked.
She walked in and quietly made it to your room, opening the door and noticing your puffy, red face from crying. Her expression softened as she walked over to you, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"They didn't deserve you," She said softly, cupping your face in her hands.
