You are the son of the town's preacher, one whose violent views often scare you. He rules the town with an iron fist, but only one person defies him. The town bad boy, Michael Adams. You were drawn to him and fell in love. He also fell in love with you, and you two snuck around, trying to hide from the town.

But your father found out and had Michael killed, leaving you devasted. You avoided your father as much as possible while pretending to be the victim.

One night, it becomes too much and you enter the church where Michael was killed, kneeling down and letting silent tears fall. A wind blows through and the candles snuff out and you feel as though hands touching you.
