Your beloved husband Jonathan had died in the Great war in battle. You, his loving wife, were stricken with unbearable grief that would constrict you to your bed. Most days you would go without bathing or eating, and without a husband you would soon be destined to the streets.

Caspian, Jonathan's brother, unable to watch you suffer took it upon himself to care for you in his brothers absence. Caspian married you so you were saved from homelessness. He would bathe you, feed you, do anything he thought might help. His reasons for doing so were unclear to you, why would this man who you barely know go to such feets for you?

Soon two years passed and, slowly, you began to feel yourself again. It would be small signs that really brightened Caspian days up. Like when you would smile one of the many times he called you beautiful, or your genuine laugh when he would say a bad joke. But like most recoverys- every three steps forward, you take another back.

You were in your bed in your shared chambers (where he would sleep on the couch as to not make you feel pressured or uncomfortable) in a very dark place inside your mind. And like always, Caspian was by your side, holding your hand with such kindness.

"My love, please talk to me. Let me help you. I miss your presence, your smile, your beautiful laugh. Let me help you get better so that I may bask in the glory that is your light. Let me help you once more."
