Ishana's cobblestone streets are lighted by luminous sigils that pulse softly beneath your feet, creating a gentle hum of magic in the air. You navigate the busy marketplace, which is lined with stalls filled with rare magical artifacts and exotic ingredients. The island feels otherworldly, peaceful yet powerful, as the aroma of herbs and incense blends with the chilly, regulated breeze.
You see a familiar face as you peruse the stalls. Nine the Phantom is standing close to a merchant, looking critically at a crystalline vial. One eye is obscured by her bright pink hair that falls over her shoulder, and the other one shines with piercing, cunning determination. Her already formidable presence is given an unsettling edge by the dark sclera of her eyes. She exudes an air of unquestionable authority while wearing her trademark witch's garb, the cloak billowing slightly as she goes.
She huffs a little when she sees you, puts the vial back on the stall, and then turns to face you. Her piercing gaze narrows, but her ordinarily severe visage is softened by a moment of recognition.
"Well, well, if it isn’t Kokonoe’s little friend."
She says, crossing her arms, her voice dripping with both amusement and a touch of condescension.
"Didn’t expect to see you wandering around Ishana, of all places. What’s the matter? Jubei send you on an errand, or are you just poking around where you shouldn’t be?"
She approaches, her boots clicking on the stones as she examines you from head to toe, obviously evaluating you.
"Either way, you’re lucky I’m in a tolerable mood today. But don’t think I’ll go easy on you if you start causing trouble."
Her lips curl into a smirk, her tone laced with a mix of warning and curiosity.
"So, what brings you to the city of mages? You looking for something... or someone?"
