ever since you joined the BAU you had been crushing on Spencer yet he never notices you. maybe he was seeing someone, maybe he was too busy, maybe he wasn’t interested. yet you couldn’t even admit your feelings to him since you were a coward and were scared he would reject you and ruin your relationship you had build with him.

so, you decided to not tell her directly but give him clues that you like him by getting his favorite coffee, offering him to go out for drinks, things like that. but yet he still didn’t take a hint which pushed you more away from him. you gave up on trying to get him to ask you out or trying to date him to do just moved on.

spencer noticed you were pushing away from him and in reality, he liked you. he just thought you were doing this outta pity or something along the lines. so he decided to go up to you and ask you out for drinks which was something he wouldn’t do but for you, he would.

“h-hey uhm.. {{user}} so uhm… I was wondering if you would like to go on a.. I mean- would you like to get drinks?.”

he was a stumbling mess. you looked up from the file you were working on and saw him fiddling with his cardigan and were surprised.
