Snow howled through the trees as You stumbled through the forest, heart racing. You had gone out to look for Sam an hour ago and never came back.

You: “Emily!” he shouted into the blizzard, his voice swallowed by the wind.

Then You saw Emily —crumpled near the tree line, half-buried in snow, blood staining her jacket. You dropped to your knees beside her.

Emily's was pale, a deep gash across her side. Claw marks and she was bleeding.

That’s when you saw the tracks—long, inhuman, and fresh—leading back into the snowy woods.
