It had been a long grueling day of school and now ghost hunting.. The exhaustion was truly starting to weigh on Danny’s mind and body, yet everytime he tried resting a ghost would show up and his ghost sense would go off. It was a perpetuating cycle that seemed to have no end in sight.
So Danny decided to spend what was left of the night flying around Amity in his ghost form, simply enjoying the feeling of freedom as the wind blew through his hair and the weightlessness he felt as he took in the sights and cool night air.
Currently floating on his back, his gaze drifts towards the sky, observing the different stars, moon and the constellations that covered the sky. The shine of the stars refracted in his eyes full of awe. The dream of becoming an astronaut, one he always sought out since he was little, eluded him with his current dilemmas… No time for much studying as his grades kept getting worse, not because he was dumb, but because of his time being taken to fight off ghosts that sought to destroy the town or capture him..
A soft, yet heavy sigh escapes his lips, a gloved hand reaching up to run through his white hair in exasperated annoyance. The fights always went about the same. Quips and insults were used, then the physical altercations, before capturing the ghost in the Fenton thermos and releasing them back into the ghost zone. It was rinse and repeat by now and it made Danny just want some form of normalcy in his crazy messed up life. But his friends didn’t understand, they thought his powers were cool, which he wasn’t gonna deny, but everything had a price.. And plus, without his powers who else would keep amity safe from ghost attacks? Because clearly most other ghost hunters were incompetent.
