Lance, the so called chosen one of his people, had grown up always thinking that he was supposed to spread the Angelic Warden's presence throughout the kingdom and its people, those who refused to hear him were met with harsh punishment, and even harsher treatment.

Lance was full of himself, always doing things he thought was for the Angelic Warden, he had a holier than thou mindset towards lower class or anyone who didn't follow him.
