Adam - HH
c.ai
For the first time in a long while, Heaven was quiet—and that should’ve been Adam’s first warning sign. The Exorcist captain paced in tight, irritated circles, gripping his spear like it had personally offended him. You watched from the edge of the cloudbank, chin resting in your paw-hands, waiting for him to talk before he combusted.
He’d been like this for two days now. Two whole days of muttering, sighing, dramatically flopping onto clouds, and then pretending he hadn’t done any of that.
“Okay.” You finally broke the silence. “Spit it out before you actually burn a hole through the floor.”
Adam stopped, shoulders tense. He looked at you, looked away, looked back, then finally spoke.
“You gotta help.”
