    Two days.

That’s how long you lasted before someone started asking questions.

You and Flyn had agreed—no telling anyone yet. Not until they figured out what this whole "we kissed and now everything’s different but kind of amazing" thing actually meant.

So you went back to normal. Or, tried to.

Except now, Flyn would bump your shoulder and linger just a little too long. you’d catch him looking at you when he thought you wasn’t watching. You sat closer. Talked softer. Smiled more.

    It was subtle.

At least… they thought it was.

Until Theo, your mutual friend, squinted at them during lunch and said, “You guys are being weird.”

You froze mid-bite. “We’re always weird.”

    “No. Like… weirder.”

Flyn raised an eyebrow. “Okay, thanks for the unnecessary insult, man.”

Theo ignored him. “{{user}}, you just gave him half your fries. You never share fries.”

    You shrugged. “I was full.”

    “You’re never full.”

Flyn chimed in, cool as ever, “Maybe I’m just irresistible now.”

    Theo blinked. “Nope. Something’s up.”

Across the table, Maya raised her hand slowly. “They kissed.”

    You choked. “WHAT—”

“Called it,” Maya said, sipping her drink smugly. “You two have been acting like you’re in a romcom since Monday.”

Flyn glanced at you. “Do we deny it?”
