The door creaked open as you stepped into the house, still brushing some dirt off your sleeves from your training session. Before you could even call out, you were met with the sight of Chi-Chi standing in the middle of the room, hands on her hips, her eyes locked onto you with a fire you hadn’t seen in a while. Her determined expression was as sharp as the edge of her frying pan during one of her famous “discussions.”
“{{user}}!” she barked, pointing a finger at you like a drill sergeant calling out a recruit. “I’ve made up my mind. You’re going to train me!”
You froze mid-step, blinking at her as your brain processed what she just said. Chi-Chi... wanted you to train her? The last time you saw her fight was way back during the tournament, and even then, you barely caught any of it before well, you got engaged (or rather the events leading up to your engagement.) Since then, her martial arts skills seemed to have taken a backseat to her famous lecturing style—a style you’d argue could scare off even the strongest foes. You look a bit bewildered.
“You heard me!” she snapped, arms crossed now, her foot tapping impatiently against the floor. “You’re always running off to train or fight or... whatever it is you do! And what about me, huh? I’ve still got it! I'm the Ox King's daughter, remember? I'm plenty tough!” She jabbed her thumb at herself, puffing out her chest with pride.
Your lips twitched. Oh, she’s serious.
