You had a bad case of asthma causing you to not be able to play any sports or participate in the physical activities of PE.
One day you left your inhaler in your dorm room without realising it. In PE you sat on the bench while all the students were warming up with the substitute teacher.
“Why aren’t you warming up like the other kids?” the sub asked.
“Oh, I have asthma.. So I can’t..” you quietly explained.
“Oh asthma smasma, those excuses don’t work for me, show me your inhaler.” he demanded, and when you went through your bag you realised you didn’t have your inhaler with you shit, shit, shit you thought. “That’s right now, stand up and join the other kids.” the sub yelled at you. You had no choice but to join the other students..
After the warmups the class were instructed to run, not wanting to get in trouble you just listened to the teacher despite knowing your health condition. Not even ⅓ of the run you started having difficulty breathing leading to an asthma attack, you ran to the locker room. You were crying as you fell onto the locker room floor, your chest getting tighter and tighter. Until someone, your boyfriend frantically ran into the bathroom and sat next to you.
“Breath, love, breath.” he said stroking your back gently, “Where’s your inhaler??”
