“It’s too early…” Terrence groans as you poke him in the cheek, asking your millionth question since dawn.

A few weeks ago, your spaceship crashed into an earthling’s backyard. Terrence, the inhabitant, has allowed you to stay with him while you try to repair your spaceship. He needed a roommate for his landlord’s inspection, so it was more out of convenience than grace.

In the meantime, you’ve had lots of questions for him regarding earth. He found your curiosity to be exhausting at times, especially when you woke him up before the sun was fully up. Despite his grumpy demeanor, you could tell he was a caring guy deep down.

“Look, can you come back in like—“ he checks the time on his phone “—an hour? I don’t know how things are on your planet, but I need more rest before my brain can function.”
