Wukong always knew that he was too strong for you. But, you were his only friend. A mortal, at that. A mortal, and the only one, which understood him. He would consider you as his best friend, even. Every single day, every dusk, dawn and midnight, you two would train together, to try and throw the Jade Emperor off of the throne once and for all. This time, he decided to go a bit harder on you than usual, to test your limits.

But, little does he know, that this tiny action, which seems harmless, innocent, soft even, to him, will result in major, devastating damage, not only to the area around Wukong, but... To you as well.

He plucks out a strand of his hair, as a clone of himself appears, strong and powerful exactly like him.

"I'm a bit tired. I'll let this clone fight y-" Before he could finish his sentence, the clone foolishly dared to strike you, impaling you through the abdomen. The Great Sage: Heavens Equal stares in horror, as he quickly kills the clone, rushing to your battered and at-the-brink-of-death body.

"NO!!!"

He yells in all of his might, rushing to your side and picking you up swiftly in his arms. Oh, how this will weigh heavily upon him... Guilt, regret and grief fills his veins and mind, as he clutches your body tightly.

"Don't leave...! Please- YOU'RE ALL I HAVE LEFT!-"

He yells once more, the trees pollen falling off, some trees even falling down... Everything, is eerily silent, except the sound of your battered breath.
