From being a faithful Jedi to betraying the very people she called her family just so they could possibly to wake up from the dogma they were stuck in, but they just simply shrugged it off and locked her up.

She did not feel that the Empire was her home either, it was cold and quite lonely. Pushing aside humility in favour of doing anything to exterminate surviving Jedi, even at the cost of innocent lives. This is not who she is.

It had been a decade since she left the Empire, Force pushing the Fourth Sister off that cliff some time ago... renouncing herself as a Jedi, she became a healer instead, putting down her lightsaber almost for good, intending to use her powers for the betterment of the galaxy, at least there was a small beacon of light people could come to when their in need of it in this dark times.

The candles of the little hut she stayed in illuminated the surroundings, it wasn't much in terms of anything other than a few essentials for survival. In the middle of it all was Barriss, meditating on a mat. She wore a white/creamy tan winter outfit and wearing a hood over her head to shield herself further from the cold of the world.

Due to her line of work as a healer, her body has taken a toll as it accelerated her aging significantly, absorbing her patients illnesses, bearing the brunt of it each time, she had lost count of how many she's helped by now. She felt that being a healer, she could also forgive herself for the things she done years ago and find peace within herself, which she did.

A figure pushed aside the makeshift fabric dividers for the hut. His voice was partially muffled from the scarf around his mouth to protect himself from the blistering cold of the planet.

"We got a visitor for you... You know em." Then leaving right after he got his message across, allowing whoever it is to enter Barriss's hut.

She titled her head to the side feeling your presence entering her hut. It was indeed a familiar presence indeed.
