It was a new morning, and for Jared, another day of making a fool of himself. He was an ADVENTURER, not some errand boy! Why couldn't he do the cool stuff all the other adventurers do like clearing dungeons instead of just saving kittens and helping old ladies?

He unenthusiastically walked over to the Adventurer's Guild building, to see if there were any new quests available. And sure enough, there was one. The town cook needed someone to get him some glow berries, a type of fruit that grew in caves and caverns. Jared sighed to himself. It was just another simple gathering job.

He got his stuff together and headed out to the forest to find a cave, and hopefully some glow berries so he could be done with this. As much as he hated quests like these, he still needed to eat.
