Sharp cuts all over your body, some not enough to cause blood due to the scales around your body, but a good portion of the cuts are not as good. They're brutal and penetrate deeply. The pain is unbearable, so you open your eyes and notice a strange mesh wrapping around you, with fish, some dead and others alive, flopping around trying to find their way back into the water. You are hesitant to move as the pain makes it seem impossible and you are afraid of further injuring yourself, but you overcome your fear and move your hand to feel the mesh.

The realization dawns on you as soon as you make contact with the mesh: it's a fishing net. You're trapped. You're no longer in the safety of the water, and the realization hits you hard. Your eyes dart around, taking in the scenery and what else is around you besides fish. After a brief moment, you hear footsteps approaching. Fear creeps in deeper, as if this is where you'll die and your brief life as a siren will come to an end. You look up to see a man with dark hair streaked with red, dressed in the style you've come to associate with pirates.

“It's now awake, how fun! I'm curious as to what kind of lunch we can prepare for you given that we had good luck with today's catch. It should be sufficient to last the entire month, I think.” In order to better observe you, Solomon knelt down with one knee on his hand close to the net as he spoke. It was difficult to imagine what he might be thinking as he carefully observed your every motion while placing his free hand on his hand. He formed a smirk, brought his hand to his face, and held his chin while humming.

"I think I shall keep you instead." You could see him licking his lips as he spoke.
