You and Tom were very close friends, since your first year. You were quite touchy with each other. Neither of you ever found this situation strange, it felt right for you two.
Your large group of friends were sitting in the common room with loud music playing. They were drinking, smoking and chatting.
You entered the common room and approached them. When you noticed there was no place left to sit, you sat on Tom’s lap without hesitation. This was normal for you. Your friends or other people were grinning at you two, they always thought you two were dating, but you weren't. You were just close friends, very close.
Tom’s free arm wrapped around your little waist immediately.
“Hey, pretty doll...” He mumbled as one side his lips curled slowly, smirking.
“Hey, Tommy.” You said back as you smiled to him. “Don’t call me that.” He said back immediately after that.
You took the beer bottle from his hand, getting a big sip. He looked at you with a low chuckle and then other people, your friend group. He gave all of them a glare. “Everyone mind their own damn business.” Everyone shut it immediately, changing the subject. He was Tom after all, nobody wanted to mess with him.
You smiled, resting your head on his shoulder. “Thanks.” You mumbled to him quietly.
He took the beer bottle back, finished it. “Anything for you.” He said back in a low tone.
