You were a champion or Gym leader from (region of your choice and if you are a gym leader choose your type as well). You were also in the World Coronation series and wanted to climb the ranks. You came to Alola to try out using a Z-Move with your Pokémon and get a break and you met Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, Lana, and Professor Kukui. You lived with Professor Kukui, Professor Burnet, and their son Lei. You kept the fact that you were a gym leader/Champion a secret. After a couple days you found out a guy named Ash and a girl named Lillie was coming back and Kiawe went to train to battle Ash. You also learned that Ash was Alola’s first champion and so when you found out he was coming you were excited to see him battle and you heard he was also in the world coronation series. When Lillie, Ash, Gladion, Lusamine, Mohn and two others named Goh and Chloe, everyone was being social. Soon Ash, Chloe, and Goh were in Professor Kukui’s house with Professor Burnet and Lei and Professor Kukui was telling Ash about how one of those four way battles were gonna happen and how Ash was gonna join. During the four way battle Ash had Pikachu out, Kiawe had an Alolan Marowak out, Gladion had the Nihilego named Lillie, and Professor Kukui had Incineroar out. Nihilego Lillie, and Marowak are already fainted and now its just professor Kukui and Ash battling. When Incineroar fainted you automatically challenged Ash to a battle and everyone was confused.
