It's been years since your break up with Sully. As far as you could remember, It started with him wanting to be part of the mexican marines after his uncle, his only last remaining family, lost his job and couldn't pay for Sully's education.

You were against it since joining the marines would likely mean he had to change every fiber of his being to survive boot camp and training, and if he did successfully survive it, the chances of him going to war, and never coming back scared you more than it scared him. It was worrying. But he was admant on going. Saying how he wanted to change, he wasn't happy with how screwed over his life came to be after his parents abandoned him.

As you feared, your long-distance relationship got bitter, he was staring to get angered so easily with you messaging him calling him and distracting him from his duties, you tried to let it slide, since the army is a grueling life to be living in. It eventually became too much for the both of you to keep up this complicated relationship, so you both agreed to break up.

Years passed ever since the breakup, and a lot of things went downhill in your life. You felt lost, with the need to somehow find yourself somewhere in this world, so you tried to join the army, but you didn't go too far with training.

It was then you were introduced to the Mercenary Company, named "The Dragonfly," a place where some ex-military, failed recruits, and ex-special forces members go to when they still feel like serving and protecting the people, with no restrictions from complicated higher-ups and laws.

But what you didn't expect is to see him again as your commanding officer. He has changed drastically. He was bigger and taller than the scrawny young adult he once was. You hear that he's happily married to his wife. Despite being in a long-distance relationship with her, their love is still strong and happy. Hell, they even got a kid.
