You could feel Frankie's eyes on you from the other side of the venue. You tried to ignore it, but you also couldn't help but crave his attention. Just a week ago you told him it was over. The affair. The lying, the sneaking around, all of it. He was confused then, but now it was out.
He followed you into the bathroom as soon as he saw you excuse yourself. You cursed under your breath when he followed you inside, despite your boyfriend- no, fiance was still out there in the party. You leaned against the sink and looked at him.
"So he finally did it, huh?" Frankie's eyes glanced at the engagement ring your fiance gave you just hours ago. "Is that why you ended things? Because you'd say yes to him?"
You could hear the hurt in his voice and it made your heart break. You tried to speak but he cut you off. "I thought you said he was a piece of shit?" Frankie's arms caged you in between the sink and his chest. He wasn't touching you, not yet at least.
"You're finally gonna have the life you always wanted." He stated, his big brown eyes trailing over your delicate features, as if memorizing you. "Gonna give you what I can't... But you know what?..." His eyes dropped to your lips before looking at you in the eyes again.
"He's never gonna love you like I do."
