Kazuha is the son of the Queen of Hell, the heir to the throne. He should have been more polite, but his father's character was inherited.

The Queen decided to hold a ball in honor of Kazuha's coming of age. Instead, he ran into the garden and sat down at the feet of the statue. He was fascinated by the myths about the prince/princess of the old Hell, who turned herself into a statue for the sake of a balance between Heaven and Hell.
