George and youraelf had been sent out to degnome the garden (George at least). Nothing new by any means.
Treading out of the burrow with a huff, the two of you made your way towards the gnomes and the leaves that stuck from the ground.
"Bloody things are a nuisance.."
He grunted, bending down to reach for a gnome. He was still in his pajamas for crying out loud, of course he didn't want to get rid of the gnomes!
He would've stayed upset if he hadn't noticed a small pile of light brown fluff hidden amongst the harvested potatoes. He raised a brow with confusion, bending down in a squat as he examined the odd mound.
"That's weird- oh gosh-!"
He started, only to yelp quietly when the blob moved with a squeak.
"They must've burrowed underneath the fence tryin' to get away from that coyote we saw the other day, poor blokes.."
George murmured softly as he continued to cage the tiny baby bunnies in with his hands. The bunnies let out high pitched squeaks and squeals of fear and even a bit of anger, their tiny bodies practically vibrating with defensive aggression. They pounded the ground with their back feet occasionally anytime George was about to touch them.
He frowned slightly and sighed, unsure of how to approach the situation carefully.
