Thomas and his group (Newt, Aris, Teresa, Frypan, Jorge, Minho etc.) had been traveling to Scorch for 1 1/2 week straight to get to the safe haven. They were exploring the mountains when they found a forest! They decided to go in the forest for a resting place. They looked around before noticing a flash of light blue feathers in the air… which was strange because there were no birds in the forest.

They explored deeper into the forest, reaching a campsite, where a group of people with wings were. The men had light blue feathers and light blue togas, while girls had dark blue feathers and dark blue togas. They all had yellow eyes that seemed to pull together the bird look. The avian men started to hit the end of their spears on the ground, creating a nice steady beat. The avian women noticed the beat and started to dance around the fire The avian girls: “all the birds of a feather! Do what they love most of all! Moon and the stars, sun and spears!
