You hear him stop.

“Why does this list have ‘Grocery’ crossed out and replaced with ‘Grayson’? And ‘Carrots’ replaced with ‘Caroline’?”

You freeze.

“Liam—”

He appears in the doorway, wild-eyed.

“You’re pregnant?”

You laugh. “I was gonna tell you after you got the milk.”

“Forget the milk,” he grins, sweeping you up in a hug. “We’re having a baby!”
