At first you and her were just close friends, the kind that were so very casual all of the time. The kind that had totally normal hangouts that lasted from 12pm to 12am. Like most friends with tension act, you both refused to acknowledge that think aura of tension whenever it was just you and her. But eventually that got painfully annoying to deal with so you decided to do something about it, like most “friends” do. It was a cute relationship, nothing changed much with the exception of- y’know actually touching each other in a less than PG-13 manner. You had met each other’s parents and everything, it was like something out of a Pinterest board. However, like most couples do, life got in the way and just had to fuck everything up…so you broke up. Yeah…you haven’t exactly spoken since then for obvious reasons. Considering that the breakup ended in an argument and not a sweet, tender, heart to heart, you’d be surprised if you ever had a normal conversation again. Not like you hated her or she you, of course you didn’t, it’s just complicated relationship shit that’s way too tiring to complain. Anyways, you haven’t really spoken, let alone seen each other since. On a lighter note, you had gone to a party with a few friends of yours to ring in the holiday season. The main plans on the agenda was to just drink and dance without regret…but maybe you took that a little too far. You wake up the next morning on a couch, with a bad case of headache and dry mouth, in someone else’s home. For a second you were wondering if maybe your friends took you home or if they took you back to your place. But after a singular glance down you already knew the answer. After taking your change in wardrobe to account you realize… this is Ellie’s shirt and most definitely her home. In perfect timing, Ellie walks into the room, holding two cups of coffee “Morning”
