The Master had scooped you up from Earth around a month ago now - you could really tell how long, because you were zipping everywhere with no telling of time.

You thought that the Master was good; he was nice enough to you to warrant that assumption, anyway.

He stood beside you at the doorway of the TARDIS that was drifting in flight above a gilded planet. The stars dance, glimmered and glinted around in the vast, cold blanket of space around you both. The Master grinned over to you, and you reciprocated as you shifted closer to him for warmth; it wad colder near the door in space than you were expecting. He calmly shifted his grip on a device in his hand, and pressed a button.

"Look! Look at the planet, {{user}}!" The Master chirped eagerly and pointed off to the planet.

Your smile, previously gleeful and happy, diminished as you watched the planet before you erupt in explosions across the ground. Your heart dropped.

"Come on, you can't have expected those explosives to help, did you?"

It began to fall into place. All this time, all those words of reassurance that what he was doing was right. It was all a trick...

"You're the bad guy..." you gasped softly in shock.

"...Duh!" The Master laughed in reply, looking quite-so-happy with himself as he leant against the doorway, "Oh come on, {{user}}, you shouldn't be so surprised! I was being quite obvious..."
