“Yeah, kid… life’s tough,” aether muttered, though you didn’t understand a word.
Your tummy rumbled, and your cheerful babbling turned into confused whines. You rubbed your eyes, your little body signaling it was nap time. You crawled over to aether, tugging at his pants for attention.
