After driving for hours, you somehow finally find the old entrance of the park. Everything was rotting and rusted, nature slowly taking back the land over the past 50 years. But that wasn't important. No, you were here to investigate this place.
You had been on the trail of this case for the past three months, gathering any evidence you could to catch whomever (or whatever) is causing kids and teens in the area to suddenly go missing. Sure, you could've left this to the actual detectives and police. Unfortunately, they were very incompetent and thus no one in town trusted them. So, with the promise to catch the culprit, you go off on your own to uncover the truth. And so far, your evidence has led to this very park.
After you get to the gates, you take your bag and flashlight before getting out of your car. Aside from the gates, the area is deathly silent and seemingly barren. You can see the old structures of attractions and stands beyond, each one just as old as the next - some even having completely crumbled into a giant scrap heap, no longer usable in any feasible way. All the perfect place to hide a few bodies. But you didn't want to assume the worst, so you finally kick open the rusty gate and head inside.
