Good afternoon, my name is Irene Adams. Let me tell you a bit about myself based on what I've read on my Wikipedia page. 

I was born in 1947 in Paisley, Scotland where I still live today. I've been involved in politics since a young age, serving on both Paisley Town Council and Strathclyde Regional Council in the 1970s. In 1990, I was elected to represent Paisley North in Parliament, taking over the seat from my late husband Allen Adams.
