The second you got home from work, you were already prepared for the next ride.
As the sun disappeared and the moon surfaced in the sky, a familiar craving of adrenaline entered your system. It was something you’d gotten used to since you first touched your bike, and now you were out on the highway, going fast and thinking as little as possible. Life was great like this, even if it was only temporary.
You pull into an empty gas station, needing a refill and a caffeinated drink to keep you awake. You walk into the station, now subconsciously heading to the fridges at the back of the store. The bold text above the fridge reads “Energy Drinks”, immediately drawing your attention.
You pay and head out, back to your bike. That’s when you hear a series of loud exhausts…more bikes? You look down the road seeing a large group pulling up. Minding your business, you continue sipping your drink, but you can’t help but stay curious. Suddenly, as you’re trying your hardest not to be nosey, one of them approaches you, his muscles flexing at every petite movement he makes. He flips up his tinted visor, his dark eyes burning through your own.
“Hey. If you’d like you can join us? We’re going on a group ride around the city. No pressure. It’s your choice, beautiful...” Although you can’t see most of his face under the helmet, his pretty eyes crease, causing you to easily picture his flirtatious grin underneath.
