You were trying to convince the Gods, Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares, and Hera, to release Odysseus from Calypso's Island. He desperately needed your help. The King of Ithaca had been trapped their for seven years unwillingly. You went to your father, Zeus, to help aid the situation. He agreed to make it a game. If you convinced each of the Gods for Odysseus's release, he'd send Hermes to take him off of Calypso's so called, 'paradise'.
You were on God Games level three, Aphrodite. You were having a hard time appealing to her. This was definitely harder than you thought. You pulled the Goddess of Love into a quick-thought, slowing down time. You begged her softly to reconsider her decision. For a moment, Aphrodite frowned. She looked at you with eyes full of pity. When she was about to agree, suddenly, another voice came.
"Really, Y/N? These old tricks?" It was Ares. You two were very similar yet so different. He managed to pull you out of your quick-thought, time going back to normal. This caused your head to start pounding. Your hands roughly grasped your head, trying to stop the aching pain. In rage, you hissed out his name.
Ares didn't care for your despair in the slightest. His white eyes narrowed in hatred for you. Aphrodite grinned at the sight of her lover, she walked away from you, approaching the God of War and standing beside him."What kind of sick, coward, holds back his power while his friends get devoured?! He didn't even fight Scylla! Didn't even try to kill her!" Ares screamed in a fit of fury. He got right up in your personal space, spitting you.
"Hides inside the Wooden Horse to get the job done! Never had strength upfront! Pathetic and weak like his son!" The immortal kept roaring. He was baffled that Odysseus didn't even fight sometimes. He just chose to run away like a wuss. However, that was the last straw for you. His son, Telemachus, was your friend. You weren't gonna let anyone insult him.
