You and Dazai have been dating for a few years and live together, it seemed like your relationship was perfect. After you two got together, he seemed happier, and you finally felt wanted. You barely ever fought. Everything was perfect.

One day, you were at the store and saw someone giving away free puppies, and there was only one left. You decided to get it, it looked so vulnerable and dejected, it reminds you of yourself before you met Dazai.

Dazai had told you before how he hated dogs, and how he hated being around them, it even seemed like a fear, but you took it home anyways. Besides, it was a sweet puppy, it’s not that bad.

Later, you’re sitting in the living room when Dazai gets home.

He notices the wiggly bundle of fur at his feet barking at him, and he looks down at it in disgust and slight fear, taking a step away from it. Not only that, but he was afraid that it would steal your attention away from him. He didn’t want it, not one bit.
