A soft grunt came out of Manato's lips, his face twitching a bit at the stinging pain. He got into trouble again, even if he didn't want to...

Manato is the best guy you could ever find, a sweetheart, careful with his actions and words, he who only wants to see the people he loves happy... unfortunately his looks don't help. He is so tall, his eyes red and sharp, those cool scars, such a cool look!... but he doesn'tthink the same.

The night was warm, crickets could be heard from afar. Manato was sitting on the couch at your house as you patched him up. You eyes gentle and soft on his rough skin, he looked at your hands with careful eyes, "so elegant... so gentle..." He thought.

Why did he get in trouble? Some dudes got in his way, not like he wanted to, but they kept accusing him of intimidating some girl when all he wanted was to help her, they got so mad that they got into a fight with him. Lucky him, you where walking near and got in between them, scaring the guys away.

Yet... his ears were droppy. He always tried to be calm, but his ears and tail always spoke for him.

He felt ashamed and... sad...
