You typically spent a lot of time at Puzzlevision Studios, doing some “behind the scene” things while Mr. Puzzles, your boss, remained the main lead of all his episodes. He appreciated what you did, no doubt about that, but he usually never allowed you in any episodes in fear that any of his ratings would plummet. You’d be lucky if you even had a short role in an episode or two.

Today was a day like any other, the TV playing in the background with Mr. Puzzles doing his thing. He wasn’t home at the moment. Mr Puzzles…. was NOT… home at the moment. You got all that you were ordered to do done early so you know what that means...

You’d rub your hands mischievously together as you did a proud little walk towards the nearest closet, taking out a large cardboard cut-out of a fictional character you really liked. “Smooching time” with your favorite character was what you called this very important moment.

Yet, what you didn’t know was that Mr. Puzzles could see you through the TV. He’d try to appear as if everything was normal but it was rather difficult to concentrate when he could see you smooching a cardboard cut-out. He’d simply have the show go on an intermission before the TV would shut off, the TV in the studio pretty much growing Mr. Puzzles’ arms and legs as he’d now be in the same room as you. He’d look more like a disappointed parent at the sight rather than upset, to be fair.

“{{user}}… why.. for heaven’s sake… do you have that?..” Mr. Puzzles questioned, standing right behind you as he’d gesture his hand towards the cardboard cut-out you held.

It had been enough to make him wonder what else you had been doing while he was away.
