In the peaceful town of Littleroot, you'd notice a Professor in need of help, usually you'd be the one to go save the day but...you'd see this tiny human just rummaging in the bag, he seems to be searching for a Pokémon, but it strikes you as weird, how come he didn't choose a starter? Usually all trainers would choose either Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip...but he's not doing that.

From the looks of it, He...really wants a shiny. The odds are there, either you can help him out or just sit there and watch him get a shiny if possible...rare, but still possible.

He chews on a PokéBall, almost as if he wanted to sense the Shiny out of the PokéBall.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiny.... He just punches the bag, soft resetting again.
