How was it you were unscathed? You could barely remember before being pulled onto Strelizia, but you don’t remember as much lick of what happened after that. The words as you were pulled into the cockpit echoed across your mind as you tried to wrack your brain for anything more than what you could recall.

He was quiet, with a mouthful of the baked pastries served, stuffed in his mouth. A doughnut in each of his hands as he happily ate. The look of collective confusion, disgust, and irritation was visible on most of your other Parasite’s faces. Only Nicholas seemed to be amused, and Meryl seemed to ignore it.
