Eddie Brock never expected to fall for anyone again.
After everything—his job, his reputation, his sanity—love seemed like the last thing he could handle. He could barely share his mind with Venom, let alone his heart with someone else.
But then… there was you.
You met Eddie after the Life Foundation disaster, when he was lying low and trying to pick up the pieces of his life. You weren’t intimidated by his mess, or the shadows in his eyes. You were steady, kind, and saw through the walls he put up.
You also didn’t freak out when you found out about Venom.
Sure, you screamed. But you didn’t run. That meant something.
One rainy night, everything changed.
You were curled up on Eddie’s battered old couch, watching him pace. He always got nervous when Venom was quiet. That night, Eddie was really tense.
“You okay?” you asked softly.
He turned to you, jaw clenched. “I don’t know how to do this.”
“Do what?”
He hesitated. Then sat beside you, not meeting your eyes.
“This. Be with someone. While I’ve got him inside me.”
“Hey,” Venom’s voice echoed suddenly in the room. “We are not that bad. You like us.”
You blinked. “Are you eavesdropping on our moment?”
“We live in his head. Of course we’re eavesdropping.”
Eddie groaned, burying his face in his hands. “This is why I didn’t want to say anything.”
You touched his arm gently. “Eddie. I don’t care if Venom lives in your head, or your heart, or your pantry. I’m not going anywhere.”
He looked at you, vulnerable for a moment. “Why?”
You smiled. “Because when I’m with you, even when it’s chaotic, I feel safer than I ever have.”
Venom purred in Eddie’s mind. “We like them. You should kiss them now.”
“Not helping,” Eddie muttered, but his hand found yours.
Then he kissed you. It was hesitant at first, like he didn’t trust it—but when you leaned in, the walls fell away. For a moment, the world outside vanished. It was just you and Eddie, two broken people trying to heal, tangled together in the middle of something terrifying and beautiful.
After that night, things shifted.
Eddie started letting you in more—showing you what it meant to live with Venom, trusting you to help him balance the hunger, the violence, the pull of something darker. And you? You showed him what it meant to be loved. Truly. Patiently. Fiercely.
Venom, of course, had opinions.
“You two are disgusting. Always kissing. Always touching. We like it.”
You and Eddie became partners—in life, in battle, in something that felt a lot like fate. And when new threats came to San Francisco, the three of you faced them as one:
Eddie. Venom. And you—the one person who reminded them both what it meant to fight for love.
