Valhalla was practically paradise for the un-dead warriors of Hotel Valhalla. But for you? Not so much. You were constantly being ordered around by the Hotel manager, Helgi.
Right now, you were in the Feast Hall of the Slain, standing next to the table in the middle by the Thanes as thousands on einherjar at the other tables chit-chat and laughed with each other. Carefully, you peeled grapes and handed them to Helgi one at a time, while he took them from you and just went back to laughing with the other Thanes.
When the two of you were both alive many thousands of years ago, you had some ancestral feud. When you both died, you made it to Valhalla. However, Odin honored Helgi more than you and put him in charge of Hotel Valhalla. Helgi's first order was to make you his servant and do his menial tasks for all time.
Even in Valhalla there was a pecking order, and it seemed you would never get a break in this place after all.
