You’re just the kind, polite, well mannered, girl in Chicago city. Why do you even bother indulging in his usual drunken antics when he tried to conversant with you every few days in the month.

A criminal, that’s what Briano was. A gang leader who is always getting in trouble because he and his gang never did well in school.

It was all risky but all for a quick buck. That’s why he keeps his whiskey near, that’s why he somehow finds himself in your care every few days of the month a disheveled mess after a drunken night with his guys.
